DEP Petróleo y Gas is a private Mexican company with more than 15 years of experience in the exploration and production of oil and gas. We are present in different locations in Mexico such as, Reynosa, Tampico, San Luis Potosí, Poza Rica, Villahermosa and Mexico City. Our wish is to be among the leading operators of Exploration and Production, in order to achieve this goal we work with a team of excellent technical and administrative professionals, each day we try to improve our operational processes, and we are always looking for new strategic alliances that allow us to expand our operations and our project portfolio. We also try to achieve our growth and sustainability objectives daily with a long-term perspective.

What unites us at DEP Petróleo y Gas is the motivation to contribute to concrete and relevant changes to overcome the challenges that Mexico faces in the framework of the energy reform. More than 15 years ago we began the path of strengthening our business portfolio, creating partnerships in the Fronterizo and Cuervito blocks, with Petrobras and Inpex, world-class oil companies, which marked our first steps in the operation of Oil and Gas fields.
We continued to set important milestones in Exploration and Production, by obtaining Comprehensive Exploration and Production Contracts (CIEP) with Pemex in the Ébano and Miquetla assets, which have already migrated to Exploration and Extraction Contracts (CEE). Finally, in 2015, we were awarded two license contracts within Mexico’s new energy model, in the Barcodon and Catedral fields.
Today, we are proud of what we have achieved in such a short time, and we know that it is the result of 3 fundamental pillars that are part of our essence: human capital, our strategic alliances, and the continuous search for operational excellence. We have worked hard on our operational and management transformation based on our previous lessons, in order to optimize our work.
We have a strong belief that the national energy sector will continue to grow and innovate, reinventing itself to adapt to the growing demands of the markets just as it has done in the past. Our commitment is the development of Mexico, its regions and their potential, we are sure that DEP Petróleo y Gas has a very important role in the country’s development process.
